Sketchbook Project 2012-sketch 20

This graphite drawing for the Sketchbook Project is of Danny, the Whippet, who was part of the household of a farm that I used to farm-sit at. What a delightful dog! He was quite insecure the first time I stayed there and slept practically wrapped around my head the whole night. After that he mellowed to sleeping along the line of my back…under the covers though. He and his three companion dogs got along with my little Dexter too. The horse stalls were a lot of work but the fun had with all the dogs and cats always made it an enjoyable stay.
